When you load a new TAP file, the head always goes to zero when you start the run. Have you seen the topic on 'Issue with Pause' ? If you are running the 'i' version of the controller I would revert to the 'h' or earlier. Since I did this I have had no issues with shifts of coordinates while milling...

Ouch! Same issue. Speed change during cutting changed X axis setting, and then Pause made Z jump up about 20mm...luckily not down! This was during a job. I then did tests on a trial circle (converted to Bezier curves), and pause/speed change etc had no effect ...Have now reverted to the 'h' version ...

Thanks Wolfie. i'm o/s at the moment so havent phoned aeg aust. in uk tjere is a Draper f/b router tha that looks like aeg. they told me the neck that fits base is 88mm diameter. it only costs 160 pounds. Can you tell me the diameter of the aeg neck please? also do you know if the Ridgid you mention...

By 'Bunnies' do you mean Bunnings? I have been trying to track down the collar size of the AEG 1400 - is it about 70.5mm? If not BUNNINGS where did you source it?
