Re: Pocket paths problems

Hi Steveohm. Theoretically you should get a perfect part and cutout every time when using a machine. In real life that is seldom the case. I don't know what speed you are cutting at but it could be a factor. On some machines especially the smaller ones you can get a condition called overrun. That is...

Re: Simple Cuts for You all...

I just drew a part similar to what you did. I made sure all the vector's were connected and the space between the vertical lines on the U shape were big enough for the 0.25 bit to fit in. I cut inside /left and got a good tool path. When I tried to cut Outside right I got a tool path that cut below ...

Re: Simple Cuts for You all...

How did you generate the drawing in the attachment. Did you draw it in Vcarvepro? or some other program. What is the dimension between lines. What size Bit are you trying to use.

Re: Beveling edges seem to be offset

There is another possibility. If the bed is not perfectly level You might not notice the cuts with and end mill being off a little bit. When you run a Vee bit to miter an edge the difference in width of cut becomes readily apparent. I recommend you get a dial indicator and a way to mount in your rou...

Miss use of the forum

I just sent al Wolford a second message asking him to do his job as administrator/ moderator and take care of this guy "adamgc2" who is cluttering up the forum with his garbage. Maybe it will take more messages from the members to get al Wolford's attention. Please feel free to jump in and complain....

Re: Adding tools to database

to create tools from scratch you will need to know something about Node Editing.
Go to "Support- Custom Form Cutter- Vectric"
It has an excellent step by step process on how to create your own cutter configuration.
Good luck Dan

Re: e-mail

After you create the job and preview the tool paths in either Aspire or VCarvepro. You must save the Preview image.
This is a feature of the preview tool paths section. It will be in a Jpeg format.
Write the Email and attach the picture.
