Good Morning With the help of Next Wave this problem has been resolved. We reloaded the Control panel software and the CNC is operating properly once again. Thom Thanks for the second set of eyes. I'll try running it again, still not sure why it stalled at line 65 thousand......I'll keep the touch pad off the control box and give it a go....The problem is that I need to have these boards ready for presentation and I leave Wednesday sooo some late nights...

Thom No changes to anything, including the wiring.....My working is MDF so I don't think its shorted. The thing is it pops up in the middle of loading the tool path. Beats the heck out of me, as the machine seems to function just fine after I cancel it out.. Thanks for the reply, I may send a query ...

Evening All Has anyone been getting random messages like "can't detect the touch pad" even well after the touch pad has been used successfully? As well I get the popup that allows you to select the file for the next toolpath to run. I cancel them out and all seems fine just annoying at present. Last...

I used a 12 volt 120 m amp power supply. I think it was from an old telephone unit for the house. It runs 4 computer fans with no problems. I may install a switch so that I can turn the fans off without having to shut off the power bar.

Spy I had the same problem worrying about heat in the stepper motors. My steppers were reaching 130 degrees plus at times so I did the following.
