Shark hit a home run with their homing switches. I have an HD3 with an HD5 controller, so I had to retrofit my Shark to add the homing switches. The Shark dust boot just does not work. The bristles are too stiff. You cna deform the gantry on a deep cut, and throw your cutter off enough to affect the cut. Shark has not responded to concerns about this. The Kent dust boot works, and has a 4 inch vaccuum tube so you can get good results. I have...

using the VCarve engraver program

Has enyone used the engraver program in VCarve? Where do you find the diamond engraving tools?

I would like to engrave a logo into stainless steel. I am not sure where to buy the diamond engraver they list.

Is the shark capable of engraving on steel?

SteveM got it right. Engineers do not know how to explain things to ordinary people. They put almost enough information into the book to get you interested, but only engineers can make it work.
