Re: Engraving brass
Looks good. What bit did you use? Is it solid timber?

Re: control panel 23g
Ok Thanks for explaining, I opened it a few hours ago and it was still saying I needed to update. I just closed it then and reopened and the message is now saying the new message about the problem with the version 23g. It must have just been fixed in the last few hours. Are you working day and night...

Re: control panel 23g
I keep getting a pop up box saying to click here for a new update every time I open the control panel, then it just takes me to the same old download page with out dated info and no message telling me what the new version is and then I check and the newest version is the one I'm currently using anyw...

Re: control panel update
I keep being told there is a new update available every time I open the control software. I click ok and it takes me to the download page where there are no new updates according to the dates and versions listed on there. What is going on? I check the version I'm currently using and its the same as ...

Re: NWA July 3 Contoller Update
Just wondering if you got this problem sorted? Seems weird to me. I just noticed yet another update so I'm about to download and see if I can notice any changes. Would be good to have a list of the new things included with the update. All I see is the old 'What's New' doc which hasn't been updated a...

Re: NWA July 3 Contoller Update
Yep I agree. Sure it wont be easy but once its done its done. The problems created by not doing it are on going and effect people everyday. Surely its gotta be better to spend the time and money to do it than to continue running into problems for another few hundred years. I've heard stories where p...

Re: NWA July 3 Contoller Update
Well after reading all these replies I'm starting to wish I had built my own from scratch instead of compromising and trying do deal with a machine that was really designed to work in inches. I thought the computer software would be able to simply convert without loosing accuracy but after thinking ...

Re: NWA July 3 Contoller Update
Doesn't look like anyone has any answers. I'd love to get this rounding issue sorted out. I noticed it was about 2mm out when returning to zero today. Very annoying. Also noticed it runs rough when returning to zero more often than it did before the last update, if you can't update then i would just...

Re: SHIFT ISSUE
Maybe the feed rate was too high and the stepper lost track while trying to push the router. What feed/plunge rate/pass depth did you run for the 1/4inch cutter? I would try running it again at a slower pace and see if it still happens. I've had a similar thing happen just because I was trying to ta...

Re: Sign Pricing
I've seen signs selling on Etsy and can't believe how cheap they are selling for. If you want to start your own business and actually make a profit then i would suggest you sell them for far higher prices than theses examples. Maybe they have a really cheap supply of cedar but even when taking the t...
