Re: What's the Next Feature You Would Like?

1) Machine Home. Also include a couple user definable "home presets" in addition to a default Machine Home.
2) Limit Switches. Likely a necessity for a Machine Home feature.

Re: reload it all

Sounds like you did the right thing contacting Vectric. If you have the license and are legit there should be no problem getting a new download. With respect to rebuilding from scratch....now would be a good time to gather all license keys and program files and copy them to a USB stick or external d...

Re: Using the Touch probe and the CNC Shark Pro Plus

Don't know if other probes will work with the Shark. Jeffery is correct, you definitely need to hold down the item you are scanning somehow, depends on your piece what method may work best. I have the Shark Probe and use it successfully with my Pro Plus. It did have a bit of a break in period before...

Re: Control Panel Version 1.5.0.22

Thanks Joe. I may not have been clear at first. I don't want tweak any settings in the older 2010 post processors or edit them to add the Direct Output command, just curious they would work as is with v22. I'll eventually update to the most current version of everything in the interest of stability ...

Re: Control Panel Version 1.5.0.22

Thanks Joe. The "no longer used" text on the download page for the original post processors threw me off a bit. So if I understand correctly now, I only need the new post processors and the .ini file if I wish to use the Direct Output feature or tweak the G64 tolerance settings? Otherwise I'm still ...

Re: Control Panel Version 1.5.0.22

I just checked the download page and now see the 1.5.0.22 version posted. Also an updated manual and post processor files. I'd suggest a thorough read of the post processor sections prior to upgrading. Appears the new version uses (requires?) these new post processors. Personally I haven't upgraded ...

Re: Creating a new tool profile

Hi Jim. I believe you just draw the new tool geometry to scale in the main 2D drawing window in V-Carve. Same drawing window that you would create any other drawings. From the Aspire manual below on creating custom form tools (I think this is the same process for V-Carve)... Adding your own custom f...

Re: Shark Manual? Drawings? Warranty?

Amanda - I’ll try to chime in and offer some help, though there are plenty of folks on here way more knowledgeable than me that may have better or more specific advise. I don’ think there are any schematics/drawings for either the electrical or mechanical components. The warrantee is one year parts ...
