I would have you use the post processor for the shark should work fine on the PhotoVcarve. However PhotoVcarve has nothing to do with laser. It controls the depth of the Z in relationship to the darkness of the color when carving with a router. If you are trying to etch a photo then I would use the ...

This might be a simple power supply problem.

That depends on the Pro Plus you have. We used two version one was a 4 turns per inch the other was 2 turns per inch. (turn shaft and see how much it moves) there is 200 steps per rotation motor or 1.8 deg now these are stepper motors an have 3V across the phase. This is not like a DC motor you can ...

This might be a simple case of the controller model number is not correct so the wrong setup is begin used.

It has a standard nova chuck attached and I don't have is specifics with me. However the ends of the Spindle is 2 inches dia and about 18 inches long.
