Gantry stops at line 33
This is driving me nuts :x I cannot work out what is wrong with this toolpath. When I run it, the gantry stops at line 33 whilst the bit and the counter keep on running. I have re-calculated, deleted and re-created the toolpath but it makes no difference at all. I have no problem with the finishing ...

Re: plunge cutting pushes the router up in the clamp
I have had that problem as well. The clamp is just too slippery and flexible. 1)The circular opening in the clamp may not fit your router, run a length of masking tape around your router before you tighten the bolt, that gives the clamp something to grip on. 2) do not tighten the 2 front bolts until...

Re: Shark Control Panel 1.5.0.23f Release
I finally caved in and downloaded the latest Control Panel Release.
This time NWA got the metric right
Over a run of 550mm it is only +0.005mm out.
That's impressive.
I am very happy.
Now, if only the program would remember that I use metric, it would be almost perfect
Cheers

Re: x and y zeroing to a jig and to the table
You can get an approximate number which is half the length and breath of the table. However, as the table can be mounted in different positions, a little bit forward a little bit back, every unit is different hence nobody but you can get the exact position. I, for example, didn't like the wasted spa...

Re: x and y zeroing to a jig and to the table
I usually jog the router fast to almost the edge of the table, lower the router to very close to the table without touching it, then jog it in tiny movements until it is at the very edge. Set the axis to 0 then lift the bit and send the it to the other side in the same manner as before. Note the dis...

Re: power consumtion
The power consumption on the shark is minimal, the motors only use 24 volts.
It is the size of your router you have to take into consideration
