Re: rotary attachment

For those interested in the 4th axis systems. We have been working hard on delivering a couple of different models for the sharks. We created a table top version that will sit on the table and carve about 2" dia max pieces. We also have an upgrade kit for a mini lathe. I will have more information i...

Re: Fuse size

I am not sure where you are seeing the 4.5 amp fuse. The external fuse is 8 amps for Canada and 10 amps for the US. There is an internal fuse on the Board that is 4 for Canada and 7.5 for US. If it is the internal fuse that is blown then you have an issue with the board. If you are using a 8 or 10 a...

Re: Vicious unprovoked surprise Shark attack

This question is was the computer still connected to the Shark when you hit pause. The controller is designed to continue running to completion of the program even if the computer disconnected. If you have a lengthy disconnect the controller will time out and not reconnect because is assumes there i...

Re: Control Panel 2.0 Survey

Currently only one shark can be connected to a PC at a time. This that may be in future versions of the controller (scp). As far as output to the machine the 1.5 version of the controller can accept direct output from vcarve but as far as I know there was little interest in that. We are looking at 4...

Re: Control Panel 2.0 Survey

The software is designed work with 3 different controllers on the same PC. The license is not for 3 different controllers and 3 different PCs from 3 different owners. 4D since you are the same owner of 2 machines it was provided however this is one of the reason for a manual verification before keys...

Re: SCP2.0 - Registration date error

My question when you say you have a key but you are running it for the 1st time. if you are running it for the first time you have not yet registered the software. you would have a serial number that you are using and you upload the registration. then a Key would be emailed to you. Is the key for th...

Re: Shipping charges? Oversold?

The oversold might be a glitch in the new site. If they are oversold because of the weekend they will only be out of stock for a day or so. I think the shipping is a mistake, since I have not heard anything about an increase in costs of shipping. I sent a note to the Rockler rep for our products and...
