Re: Cutting Natural Stone
I used a 90 degree carbide bit but unfortunately I also ruined it. I ended up having to use my rotary tool and wipe out another small bit to finish it up. I was not happy with the cuts and also would like to know what bits and feed rate to use.

Re: Using Composite Deck Trim for outdoor signs
I am not not pleased with how clean the letters turned out but it is doable for now. I feel the next time might be much better. By the way there is very little if any fine dust. I did not see any dust floating around like you would with mdf. This is supposed to be water proof and if so would be perf...

Using Composite Deck Trim for outdoor signs
Has anyone used the Composite Deck Trim for outside signs yet? It is made from a combination of wood fiber and plastic type material that is heavier and more dense than mdf. My first experience using this was mediocre. The material seems to cut OK but because of the plastic in it, it leaves material...

Re: I need a new " 1/4 " Collet chuck for my palm Router
Thanks, I will. I suspect the main culprit was that I bought a cheap 1/4" end mill from Ranch and Farm Supply.

I need a new " 1/4 " Collet chuck for my palm Router
I need to find a new collet chuck for my colt palm router. I noticed today that one of my bits was slipping down the collet and before I knew was was happening it slipped deep into the wood and stalled my shark. Before I could stop the machine smoke was coming out the router. Fortunately I don't thi...

Re: My Dog's Corian Counter Top
I am very impressed. I also picked up some cut out sink rounds but have been very reluctant to try cutting them. I don't want to ruin any bits. What bits do you use to cut your corian and at what speed? Do I need special bits or will a carbide bit hold up? Thanks. I looked at a couple of your other ...

I agree with you. I am wish I could find a begineer's reference guide, book something that you can refer back to, not just for newbees either.

Problem solved.
The set screw on the step motor sleeve backed off.
