Re: x axis changed
That might be the problem, while I've had my machine for a while still very much a beginner so usually just use the defaults. Maybe I've just been lucky that the first two turned out

Re: x axis changed
Actually the machine goes astray during the rough cut, I'm doing some of the hearts with ribbons and it moves the bottom tip over. I'm a good three inches inside the bottom limit and have the board screwed down.

x axis changed
I'm in the process of doing five identical carves, the first two went ok ( rough, finish, vcarve & profile ) but when running the rough on the third one my x axis changed by .500. z & y were still ok. Re: At it again...
Mick,
Karen is the best at this process and gives very good instructions but it's really tough to make them look as good as her's. I'm still working on the first one it's time consuming but also fun.

Re: BEER WAS THE ANSWER
nice job
Hopefully at some point I will have the time and get proficient enough to be productive just messing around in my shop. In the mean time I'll just open up another one and search for that question.

Hey all, I'm trying to do this valentines project ( I got from Tony who's really tried to help me out ) for my new wife ( I know it's late ) but when I load the Tap file I get an error about nestled comments on line 16 on all four files. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks ...
