It looks great. If It was for my grandson it would have to be about 1" thick. He is a 4 year old bull in a china shop sometimes.

It looks like you excided the travel limit of the Y motion. If you are cutting up to 25" you must verify you have your work placed in the very center of the "TRAVEL" area that the shark can cut. If you excide the limited it will cause a problem like this.

I have never tried to use a dust boot on my shark. Thank for the info on how you did this. It seem like many of the "old" timers have stop responding to so many of these post. I know I have, but maybe it is time to start again.
