Touch Probe Questions
Got the Touch probe the other day, installed fine and got the Registration Key back from Next Wave in less than an hour. Tried scanning the quarter since Rockler shows a quarter being scanned as a sale promotion. I tried scanning at 0.04 @ 10 ipm as the Next Wave documentation suggests and it looked...

Re: How to stop Z zero at beginning of programs??
There is a work around that I just started using. In all my previous Shark/Vcarve/Aspire work I centered my image and therefore had the problem the previous post talk about, that little "kiss of death" at the beginning of each tool path. In both Vcarve and Aspire you can change your 0,0,0 (X,Y,Z) to...

Re: Carving pressure treated wood
Unless it is old pressure treated wood the arsenic was replaced by copper sulfate years ago, but I think you find that they still recommend not breathing the dust. Beyond that you have to use special fasteners because the copper sulfate will corrode "normal" fasteners. Since routers make incredibly ...

Re: Bosch Colt 1/8 inch collet
I got my collet replacement from http://www.precisebits.com/products/equipment/bosch_1618_collets_nuts.asp, more expensive than the item you are asking about. I'm extremely happy with the results. The Precise bits website lists the run out and the galaxy site does not. send galaxy an e-mail and ask ...

Kudos to Next Wave
Many thanks to Tim and Dana for helping me trouble shoot and repair my controller. Versions 21 and 22 would lock up my computer after I installed and ran them. Long story, 2 different computers, 2 different operating systems, different cables, different SD cards the combinations were endless. Anyone...

Re: xp software issue with 22
Thanks, that's what I thought it might be something like that. But I had terrible luck with the previous version so I'm trying to follow all the rules.
