I decided to make a dust shoe for the spindle rather than buy another one. I chose a 2-1/2" for this one rather than running the 5hp shop dust collector for 10+hours.
If you have any improvement ideas I'm open to updating it
Thanks Steve

Re: Best Router Model to Use?
I have two of the 1617EVS, (you will need a spare) I may be wrong but I think the NEW 1617EVS have the safety feature that they will NOT turn on using the control box. Power switch has to be cycled in order to reset the router from a "power outage" for safety reasons. (this may be a new rule coming ...

Look on the Vectric CD's there should be a lot of samples. And like Roger said the Vectric forum has lots of monthly freebees.

(that and my neighbors would be thankfull) The first router was one I had laying around when I got the shark so I wrote that off to age. But like you ...

Re: Anyone put a Spindle on yet?
Joe, I have the 16176 (variable speed router only), I have a spare as the bearings have not held up as well as I had hoped. Came back to check on a 6hr cut and the router was not up to full speed and sounded like @$@#. After it cooled it ran well but I changed it out anyway and when I replaced the b...
