Re: Roughin rookie

Try the .250" ball end for both ruff and finish. If you like the looks, get yourself and .125" ball end for finish, you should like it even better.

Re: Edge Finding

I've seen the triple edge finder work in real life. It is really slick. Works as shown in the video.

Maybe we should request NWA, Tim and Dana to add this to a Shark controller update. I guess I just made the request.

I would like to try it when running doubles sided machining.

Thanks,

Re: PROGRAM WILL NOT LOAD

cncJohn,

You can use the snipping tool on windows 7 and post a capture shot of the error so we can help you figure out what is causing the error. Use the upload attachment button to post it. Need more infro.

Re: Amelia paradise box

Tony,

Both boxes are very nice. Great finishes. Did you try the single finish pass cut without the roughing pass? Real time saver.

Ed,

Worked at the Erie plant my entire career. Now they pay me to stay home.

Played with different gear gizmo's but never put everything together to make a clock. (yet)

Re: Mining truck

Ed, I worked for GE and the division I worked for manufactured electric motorized wheels, thus the big mining trucks. Google Kotmatsu 960E, if you want to see info on the trucks. Been there done that for almost 40 years. Machined a bunch of various parts. Thanks to you both for the compliments. Than...
