Inconsistent TAP file

I have noticed that when using VC 6.5 and the new Basic Panel Software, now have proof that when you change the depth of cut on a vector with an offset, that the visual reproduction is is consistent, but when you create the TAP file, the resultant TAP file does not reproduce the same path (just deeper) but seems to do the correct z dimension, but ignore the offset.

This action can be reproduced ..

Has anyone else seen this problem .. and is this a known issue ..
