I just downloaded v8 which I think downloaded fine. About a month ago I downloaded 2.01 but did not use it with v7.5. I opened it up today 2.01 and a window came up asking if I wanted to update to 2.17. After the update download was done, a window came up asking for a firmware number. I know when I first got the cnc I installed the software an was asked for a firmware number but I can not remember where I got it from. Thank you gene

Firmware or registration number? If it is asking for a registration number then check your old emails you got from NextWave. The new version should work with the old number. If you can't find it then your best bet is to call/email nextWave support.
