Bob,
Thanks for posting your results. I really enjoy your work!
That's a nice choice of material too.

Thanks again Bob for the file. I made mine out of 5/4 mahogany and had to make it a bit more shallow to match up with the wood. Great idea and execution Bob! Sorry for the qualtiy of the photos. Going into Christmas packages tonight and hitting the post office tomorrow. Hope they arrive in time!

Thanks for posting the pictures.
I like how you added the engraving to your projects.
Are they off to Oslo?

You know me well :) Went out the door this morning. Probably too late for Christmas but the only way I could have finished earlier was to send them unfinished with a quart of varnish and a brush and call it a do-it-yourself project.

Thanks again Bob for your technique. It has come in useful a number of times. Here I made a rest for the rolling pins I did on my Shark last winter. I do have to admit that I did the cove on the table saw because it was quicker and the scallops on the bottom with my Shark.

Bob,
I give you all the credits for this! I down loaded your bowl design and made a few changes.
The initial dimensions are the same only mine is 2.25 thick. I made new cut files in Rhino.
I used a .5 end mill for the rough cut and a .5 ball nose for the finish pass. I was able cut the carve time by 50%.
Also, made the bowl deeper.
Again thanks Bob!!

Wow!
Nice bowls David.

Would you be willing to post your files?
This looks like a modified technique I would like to try.
