cad program

Post by Jim N »

I just stumbled upon this: http://www.emachineshop.com/
there is a 2D/3D cad design program on here that looks like it may have possibilities.
the tutorials are real good and it seems simple to use. I just started messing
with it. Can "export", gear generator, 3D shapes, etc. & FREE. When you get to the
site hit the blue download button-- before you download you can watch the video
tutorials and get a feel. Hit online help and you get a list of sample stuff.
****import/export -- export -- = DXF & 3D export .stl (feature still in beta)
Has anyone had experience with this? Comments welcome. They have it so you design and send
them the file and they will build it for you--BUT you don't have to ;)
Thanks - Jim

I haven't seen them but I tried the software. It was pretty easy to use and I like the instant pricing feature. I may have to try them one day.

Hi Tim,

I tried looking on the Bobcad Website and performed a web search for Ver 21 but could not locate a download file. Do you happen to have a link? I would like to give it a try. Does it have post-processing drivers for the Shark?

Best,
Ed
