Post by Jeff Krogman »

Some where in here I seen topic's about the 'Colt' router. I am not impressed with it, I have burned up 2. I like to go with a differant router,
but I can't find where and what others have went to.

Any and all Help is needed.

Jeff,

Do a search on DeWalt here on the forum.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

The new Dewalt 611 router is smaller than the Bosch colt by about .060, you can add some thin shims to make this router work.

I bought my second Dewalt 611 router just because I like it so well its lots less sound and is a power house on top.; Your wright it has to be shimed a bit but works great I wish we could get a adapter for the Dewalt.

You can - email towens@nextwaveautomation.com and ask for price and how to pay. They'll ship you a collar manufactured for the Dewalt.

There is a new adapter from Next wave automation that will accept the new Dewalt and The new Porter Cable.
