When going to Next wave automation's site I see multiple motors...
SHARK OR SHARK PRO (WHITE MACHINE) X OR Y AXIS MOTOR
BLACK SHARK, PRO, OR PROPLUS X AND Y AXIS MOTOR
Can anyone explain why the color designation is needed with these?
Are they not all black cases?
I don't see the HD listed . . . is it still utilizing the same unit as the other models?
No problems here just interested in getting one for a project....

Re: Motors.....
Maybe the above will answer your question.Tim Owens wrote:The 4th axis will plug into the existing controller for (black) Shark,Plus,HD and Mako models. Any older white models will have to have a suppliment controller. We have improved the controler power to the motors that will provide better performance at higher speeds.
The adjustable bearings have two adjustable screws out of each block bearing to allow for adjustable stiffness. These are set at the factory and do not need to be adjusted but can be increased if desired.
