Post by stewali »

Ok I opened up the star war file just to see what it looks like. I can see the picture in vcarve pro 8 but there is no toolpaths to look at and review. Also I cant tell the size or were to start to carve.. So I loaded it up in sharks 2.0 control panel I have gcode so I tried to run it different ways but it run my cnc machine to the full lings of my machine and off the table.. no matter were I try to start from. so what am I doing wrong.. I have cnc shark.

Use the dfx file in VCarve pro. He said he used a 0.0625 Ball Nose bit with a cut depth of 0.002. You need to run a toolpath then save the .tap file to load into the Shark control panel.
