What type of wood and how did you fish it?

The box is made of cherry with a red mahogany stain. The finish is two coats of shellac. Very smooth finish.

Both boxes are very nice. Great finishes. Did you try the single finish pass cut without the roughing pass? Real time saver.

Yea I just used the finish pass only using a .125 bn for the weave.
