Tony, where would I find the proper settings such as the correct depth of cut, correct bit or tool for materials etc. I did manage to begin the cross carving using the post processor you told me. I cut a 3/8 inch acrylic but obviously I did not have the correct settings or tools as there was no detail in the carving. The face of Jesus wasn't there. The cross was cut and maybe some lower body details. Again, thank you for your time.

You learn by expierence. Have to try different depths different tools. Look at what the preview toolpath looks like, if it's not deep enough, try going deeper. Example if your carving .001 deep than go to .003, .005 etc until it looks good. Or try v bit carving, it takes time. The more you do the better you get, that's how I learn.

Does anybody have an acrylic file they can post?

I am now using aspire, so if you can post one made I aspire so I can learn how its setup and far as speeds/feeds. Bits used and depth of cuts. I have some acrylic on order and it should be here in a day or so.

3D and Text options.

Thank you
