Is shipping to OZ that crazy? I have a stepson stationed in Hawaii and I found out that it's $250.00 to ship a 70lbs package was normal. "somehow" the package made it on a ship headed to him.
Here in California if I use the USPS and the "if it fits it ships" I can send him a lot for $10.00.
There is a huge woodworking store in Honolulu and the owner told me he has to fill a cargo container with merchandise and even then his cost is 10-15% higher than the US.
He has more inventory than any store I've been to in the states.

Are you having issues with the Y axis after doing the bearing preload mod? I know I had to back off some.

It sure is.
I wanted to buy something (forget what it was) the price was $7.85 and the shipping was just under $100. Guess what, I didn't buy it

I am not having issues YET but I am replacing most of the plastic with aluminium and needed to know whether the motors could handle it.
I know some are having issues when they extend the table.
Cheers
