Hello,

would it be possible to engrave the barrel of a baseball wood bat?

I was going to make a jig to hold a bat then do a scan to pull into the design . . . That way I could do multiples . . . A local guy got approval from a team to have their signatures imprinted on the bats for souvenir resales.

Not easy with VCarve. Aspire and a jig to hold the bat somewhat like my indexing jig should make it possible.

Not sure if it helps you on what you want to do but is a starting point for research. Not sure how flat the area is that you are wanting to engrave.

Thanks. Not completely my own original idea, but once I swapped out my MDF top for t-track those side tracks kept yelling out at me for a use. The 1/4" plywood and spacers still allow the router mount to access all the possible cutting area.
