Does anybody know the amp rating on the controller box for turning on the router? I am wondering if I could plug in a surge strip and running both the router and my Shop Vac on it.
Thanks,

Re: Controller Box Outlet
Hi Eric,
I don't know exactly what it is, but it has to be low. I'm using a good 10A power strip.
I wouldn't plug the shop vac into that same outlet - and if possible I'd avoid plugging it into the same circuit. Some shopvacs can provide a lot of signal noise that may (or may not) possible interfere with the controll box/Shark/computer communication. Again, I'm not saying it will, but I've chosen to remove that risk from my setup's equation.

Re: Controller Box Outlet
I figured as much. I was trying to think of ways to automate.
