Thanks Wolfie. i'm o/s at the moment so havent phoned aeg aust. in uk tjere is a Draper f/b router tha that looks like aeg. they told me the neck that fits base is 88mm diameter. it only costs 160 pounds. Can you tell me the diameter of the aeg neck please? also do you know if the Ridgid you mention is available in 240volt?

Sounds like it could be feedrate is to fast, try slowing it down.
