Darrians frames font
Here is something for you to try. Darriens Frames. This is what I did when I installed this to my vectric software. I had aspire opened (if you have v-carve, have it open). When I opened the compresssed file it prompted me to install fonts. I clicked install and it installed to my Draw text and Draw text within a vector box font selection. They are frames/borders of various designs. Then you can set selected object size and make it to your desired size. I run windows 7. (so???) Joe from Kentucky suggested another method to install fonts. Look in C:\windows for a\Fonts folder. Copy the .TTF file there and next time you start vectric software or any other program that uses fonts, it should show up on the list.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Adding this snip showing examples of what Darrians frame fonts look like. You can incorporate these frame fonts onto your project even better.

I searched for( free fonts) on the web and found some really cool lettering. I saved the zip file and then double clicked the zip folder, after that I located my windows fonts and dragged the opened zip files onto the desk top then re- dragged into the windows font file. It worked beautifully!

I downloaded and installed a bunch of fonts from his suggested site too.
I always wondered what some of those goofy looking fonts were good for. I never realized that you could use just one in a really large size for other purposes.

Bob,
Had the Darrians frame fonts for a long time. I too didn't realize what they were good for, discovered that by accident. One of those days when you are asking the computer what are you doing to me now? Can't wait for it to answer me someday....

For what it's worth - here's the font sites I've bookmarked the last few years - not saying it's all authoritative or anything...

Haven't even begun to search these to take advantage of Buc's discovery...

Re: Darrians frames font
Here is another frames font. They work well for borders and frames around your creations.

Re: Darrians frames font
Thanks a million Buc. I've only had my CNC Pro for about 2 weeks and having a lot of fun with it thus far. The frames downloaded and installed perfectly. Have to admit it took me few minutes to realize where they saved to and how to get them. Once I figured that out I opened Power point, typed in the letters, changed the font to Darrain Fonts and printed out the frames for reference.
With a piece of wood and an idea, I can get into a lot of trouble
