Excellent advice. How about computer and operating systems? Would a laptop and XP work?
Thanks,

Couple newby questions
Hi, I'll be getting a Pro Plus HD with 48 inch y axis. I have my home and office computers set up with XP. But I'll be purchasing a laptop for my Shark use. I am also thinking about upgrading to Aspire. What computer and operating system would interact best? I'm computer literate but have never work...

Re: CNC Wood Joints
Ed,
Did you ever revise your mount so as to be able to do micro adjustments? If so, how did it work out?

Re: Question about Shark Pro Plus HD
Thank you...what a great website. Have you or anyone ever tried to use these joinery techniques? Are they easy to use with a Shark (once set up).

Thanks Buc. How about dovetail joints for boxes, etc. Is it possible to get downloads which can create those?

Question about Shark Pro Plus HD

I would like to make a dragon dish like the one in the New Wave gallery http://www.nextwaveautomation.com/Gallery.aspx. Would it be possible to do the project only using the CNC Shark or would it also take...

Re: Turning a hobby into extra income
Thanks for the replies. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and people generally could afford nice looking house signs. I was thinking of having postcards made and sending them to all new property owners and real estate brokers. The postcard could be a picture of a great looking CNC routed front ya...

Turning a hobby into extra income
Hi...I'm a total newby. I don't own a cnc machine but the shark looks fantastic. I'm cruising towards retirement and would like to turn my woodworking hobby into an income source. How realistic is that with the Shark Pro Plus? Would there be possible buyers of lithographs, beautifully carved hope ch...
