I am considering buying NWA's 3D Digital Duplicator. Has anyone tried it and how does it work? I'm looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Thanks for your help

Unigraphics
I am using Unigraphics to create the G-code for my Shark HD. I have to change the file extension from txt to tap to make it work. However about half the time when I run the program I get the following warning: Turn on Router and hit OK. I can't figure out why I often get this warning. Any help would...

New Project using Aluminum
Hello, I'm planning a new project in which I need to cut some small parts from 1/2" aluminum. I am looking for advice, council, and wisdom. I'm sure that someone out there has had an aluminum project. Yes, I confess I have cut aluminum before, but it was my CNC bed. Now this will be my first project...

Re: MDF Spoil Board Question
Perhaps some sort of a sealer would keep the MDF stable for a longer period of time. I live in Dayton, OH and i had assumed that our high humidity had caused some swelling of the MDF. I know that removing the hard top layer of the MDF exposes a softer material that I assume is more absorbent. Withou...

Plate Production & Sheet Control
I have a project to create 352 individualized plaques. I have a list of all the names to individualize all the plaques. My plan is to create all the plaques and then individualize them one at a time. I have used V-Carve's Plate production to create a project with 352 sheets. I would like to create a...

MDF Spoil Board Question
About 6 months ago i created a MDF spoil board for my Shark. It worked great, but I recently found that the coplanar surface that I had milled had warped. It was out by 0.014". It gave me a V-Carve headache! I am creating a new MDF spoil board. Once I grind it flat would it help prolong the the usef...

How to ground router
On occasion my shark runs amuck. It seems to loose its mind and randomly routes until I hit the emergency off button or it blows a fuse. i have had problems with static discharge in the dust collection system; it had similar symptoms. It was solved by running a bare copper wire through the poly tube...

Z-axis Problems
Hello Shark Men, I purchased my Shark HD over a year ago, and due to family medical issues, and the typical learning curve I have not yet gotten it into a production mode. I have solved a number of problems along the way. One non-problem that I chased after reading a post on the Shark Forum was a co...
