sterling silver

Looking for some help as to which bit would be the best to carve in sterling silver . Have never ventured into anything beyond wood, but I am about too. Don't mean to bother you all but don't want to waste a lot of money on nothing either. Thanks

.rar.file to .stl file

This may be the wrong section to post this, if so please forgive, I bought a couple of supposedly .stl files from ebay and when the link came they were .rar and my Cut 3D program will not pick those kind of files up. Is there some way to use these with Cut 3D.
Thanks in advance,
Tim

New Experiment

Carved the acrylic with masking and used black spray ink. I carved the deer out of 1/2 inch cherry to match base. Added green lights which look ok. I believe I like it better without lights but it can be used either way. Trying to use my brain for a change.
Thanks, Tim
