Re: Finally doing acrylic
Tony, where would I find the proper settings such as the correct depth of cut, correct bit or tool for materials etc. I did manage to begin the cross carving using the post processor you told me. I cut a 3/8 inch acrylic but obviously I did not have the correct settings or tools as there was no deta...

Re: Finally doing acrylic
Thanks for the reply Tony. No, that is not the one I chose. I chose the one suggested in the tutorial. I dont remember which one it was but I know for certain it is not the one you highlighted. I shall make the change and go from there.

Re: Finally doing acrylic
Thanks guys. I bought the model and still can't produce anything. I have bought the Vcarve 8 update, bought the new router clamp, bought $200.00 worth of models today and still cannot figure out what I am doing incorrectly. I watch the tutorials yet. This time I loaded up the Gcode to cut and the bi...

Very nice. I really would like to make the one with Jesus on the cross. Where did you buy the model for that one? Thanks for sharing.

Re: Request
Good morning y'all. Karen, Dennis, and basecircle, I emailed the photo to each of you this morning. Your works are really appreciated and admired by me as I continue to try to learn the processes each of you have so skillfully captured by your crafts. It is terribly frustrating for me to not be able...

Hi everyone. I have owned my Shark for some time now. I am really trying to learn how to use it with limited success. The reason for my post this morning is I have a friend who lost her mother last night after a long illness. She has a special photo of her and her mother's hands held together just b...

Re: Birth Plaques
Kruiser, would mind sharing the file with me. I bought my Shark last year and have left it alone for months as I stayed confused. I have decided to try to learn this thing once again.

Re: Getting ready for the Big One!
I have the Mako, light strips, power supplies and connectors. Now I really would like to know where to get that LSU file. Ooops, still have to get some acrylic in too. FYI, I managed to make my first successful practice carving. YES! There is hope for me yet. Thanks to all who share on the forum, yo...
