rounding toolpath
Had the 4th axis kit for about a month now, shark black diamond. When I use the the rounding toolpath in gadgets/wrapping/rounding everything looks great in the preview but when I go to run it strange things happen. The bottom of the square block is parrallel to the table top. When I run the tap fil...

Re: pen writer holder
Thanks for posting the instructions. Actually that was what I was going to do

Re: pen writer holder
Above was considered, no instructions on how to use or set up. Videos demonstrating the operation don't show setup. The actual pen holder swivels on the shaft so it needs to be dead center. If you use different color pen markers the centering is very important for a job with multiple colors. There h...

Re: touch plate how to
That was the big problem for me is after roughing with 1/4" endmill and then changing bit to a 1/8" tapered ball nose. Thinking about it why even use virtual for roughing because if you can't use it for finish the final z will be different although my results were ok. probably make a difference if m...

Re: touch plate how to
Got it, did the corner touch it was the center that threw me. So on the finish cut you
would not use the virtual just use the one corner touch.

touch plate how to
My problem is when I cut a large relief and use the virtual to detect surface of material all is good. Use a 1/4 end mill. Now once the rough cut is done the finish cut requires a 1/8 tapered ball nose, so I change the bit and load the new finish g code, how the hec do I detect the surface of the ma...
Re: virtual
I see what happened now. The 2.0 virtual replaces the touchplate reg. If you try to reg your touchplate when you already have the 2.0 virtual reg then it will replace the the 2.0 and the virtual will not be available to you. Just re register the 2.0 virtual key and it will replace the standard touch...
