Woodrobo:
I bought my Black Diamond at the end of Nov. and had the same experience you did. After waiting 2 weeks for the "update e-mail" I sent an inquiry to NWA asking about 2.0 and they replied with the link to download it.

Re: Control version 2.0 Update
I was also told that 2.0 is not an upgrade to 1.5 rather it is a stand alone program that runs independently and will download as a separate control panel that starts from its own icon so you still have access to your previous version thus allowing the use of either version while learning 2.0.

Re: Control version 2.0 Update
I kept getting the same message, when I followed the link to update it took me to the NWA download page where I couldn't find anything I didn't already have ( I am using 1.5) so I e-mailed NWA. The answer was 2.0 is now available.

Re: multiple tool path questions
milo30:
Thanks, I didn't know that, So when downloading G-code would I be importing and running the folder that contains the files and thus be running them consecutively or would I be selecting and saving multiple tool paths and giving them a common name such as vbitpaths.tap ?

multiple tool path questions
1. When running multiple tool paths on the same project with the same bit does the Shark "forget" the X_Y_Z-0 setting when a new .tap file is loaded?'
2. Is it necessary to close the shark software in order to load a different tool path? Or can I just load a new G code and run it?

Establishing XYZ 0
I think I am ready to run my first test project but after watching tutorials and reading forums and the manual I have somehow missed the part about setting the starting point on the project piece once it is secured to the table. If the program specifies that XYZ 0 is top, front, left corner, then I ...

Re: programing controller
OK, Thank you milo30 and McBuster. You are correct I was able to load everything from my kitchen table. I watched the youtube tutorial video and that made it really easy to follow although it made no mention of powering the controller (thus my question). I did get stumped at one point so I called th...

programing controller
I am a new black diamond owner, in the process of unpacking & setting up. I am wondering if I can program the controller (in my house where I have internet) before taking it to the shop and connecting the cables ?
