Contacted New Wave, they sent out new cables and motors. Anyway, I never replaced the z axis cable and motor so I decided...

Used a raster cut and yes, I did a roughing cut.

Raised lines left on a 3d carving.
If you look at the 2 photos below, you will see that there are 'raised' lines left by the 1/16th tapered ball nose bit. Am I missing steps along the carving? Does anyone have an idea what's going on with this?

Headhunter, when I called the support number, I was told that there was a 2 or 3 month period (I purchased mine back in July of 2014) that some bad wires had gotten past quality control. Just so happens that mine was one of them. I was sent 2 new motors but my third motor's wire was still getting ho...

I noticed last night that my x and y cables have been melted together also. Not happy especially after paying the amount of money I did for this thing. Making a call this morning.
