Re: Shark Enclosure Help
Runner, I see no one has responded to your request for help these past 6 months. Here is a picture of my enclosure and dust collection. Many use the dust shoe to collect the dust. Right now, I use a shop vacuum to collect the dust but the regular dust collectors provide more vacuum. The top of the e...

Squaring the router with the sacrifice board
While adding my sacrifice boards and squaring up the sacrifice board to the router, I discovered a problem. I purchased a 1.5 inch surfacing bit to make sure the sacrifice board is truly flat with respect to the router. What I got was something like a saw tooth on the sacrifice board. Maybe you can ...

Re: Hi, NOOB here
Hi Noob. I'm new also but I do have a Shark. About your router motor, the water cooled would be over kill for you if all you will be making are cribbage boards. Water cooled are for shops where the router runs most of the time to make it cost effective. What artman said about the noise is accurate. ...

Re: Rock solid now
Ron,
Tell me some about your lathe 4th axis setup. Is this the hardware that Next Wave sells? Where did you get it?
How does it work with your controller (what did you have to get)?
I am really interested but so new to all of this, I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

Re: Two Shark Registration
For what it is worth, I recently asked Next Wave how registration works. This is what they said. I did it and it worked for me. Remember that when you take your computer back to your home, then the registration process will have to be done again for that controller. Support (Next Wave Automation) Oc...

Re: Spoil board for 25x25 using bed slots
Please understand that I am new to this hand have ideas more than practical sense. I am thinking that the glue that holds the MDF together is harder than the wood dust it holds and can do damage to a bit. Just thinking with no real proof. The stuff I was looking for and did find is made more of pape...

Re: Sacrifice Board hardware needed for a Shark
Found them!!
What I figured someone would call them. 1/4" T-Slot Nuts.
Found them at Next Wave and not Shockler. Next Wave has them 10 for $6.00

Re: Sacrifice Board hardware needed for a Shark
I guess I'm slower to get it than I thought. Thanks for the nylon bolt idea meb. I tried using a 1/4 - 20 hex nut in my Shark but the nut was too tall. Must be that Next Wave used different extruded aluminium tops on different year of Sharks. For me to use the 1/4 -20 nuts, I'd have to cut each down...

Sacrifice Board hardware needed for a Shark
New guy here wanting to add a sacrifice board to my shark. Problem is, I do not know where to find nuts or hardware that will fit and slide in the extruded top of the shark. I do have 4 Rockler hold down clamps but I think I want to do the sacrifice board where the nut is in the extruded aluminum an...
