Re: Virtual Zero buttons disappeared - on 2 different PCs
Our software and hardware registrations are not designed to expire. Some beta versions in the past have had expiration dates, but if users with our most up to date CNC Shark Control Panel (v2.1 build 26) will not have this issue. The virtual zero capabilities can be lost if the Shark’s 2.1 software ...

Re: CNC Shark Control Panel locking up
Sorry about the confusion, I put the wrong name to the issue, but either way the controller does not run off of the USB power but the connection to the computer does. If the port shuts down to conserve power then it would not have enough energy to connect to the Control Box. However you are correct ...

Re: CNC Shark Control Panel locking up
Hi Rando, It sounds like your computer is entering a Power Save or Sleep mode which is disconnecting the machine from the computer. This can happen if the USB ports are being turned off to conserve power which is a standard setting on most computers. Luckily this is a setting that can be manually ad...

Re: laser
Yeah, I was thinking about that adapter this morning, too. They want you to open the controller box, pop the connector to the router (solid state) relay, and put on the connector to control the laser. And then mount the laser into the router's chuck. Okay, yay...seems simple enough...but what are t...

Re: Laser attatchment for the Shark Pro HD
I got a different post processor from next wave automation and now when I go to run the file it starts it but don't move and says program finished after like 1 or 2 seconds. There is part of a line of code that is grayed out. Not sure what that means though. Try downloading and installing the contr...

Re: Shark HD3 Z-Axis Question
While the Shark HD 3.0 does have 7" of Z travel, the upper Z limit is a major factor in your application. It is very possible that after the touch plate is used to zero the Z axis, the router is returning to it's safe height and running into the upper Z limit of the machine. This will cause a loss i...

Re: Water-Cooled Spindle Setup Question
Great to hear you are excited to use your Shark. Answer to question 1: We recommend plugging your inverter into a power strip and plugging the strip into a wall outlet. Answer to question 2: The water pump for the spindle does not have a switch, it is activated once plugged into the wall. Thanks, Ne...

Re: shark cuts some vectors overlapping
Zanemeis has a great point. If the machine is hitting any of its limits, it will cause the machine to lose position. If you could post your .crv and .tap file here, we would all be happy to help troubleshoot.
