Re: Stop and start in the middle of a program

Thank you thom. Thank you for sharing the link. Tons of good information. I have already cut this program. Hopefully I will be able to look into this before my next large project. I’ve already got another person asking me about making one.
Thanks again.

Re: Stop and start in the middle of a program

Thank you for the reply. I would like to see some new software that would allow us to stop and start in the same place. My shop is not air conditioned and it seems like whenever I run the machine for a while the control box gets pretty warm. More so than I think it should. This will be the largest p...

Stop and start in the middle of a program

I am about to start a rather large 3D mantle project for a customer. About 10 hours long. Can anyone tell me if I can stop it in the middle of the program, leave and come back to it later? Besides pausing it. I am running the HD4 with VCarve Pro.

Re: CNC Shark Maintenance

Thank you Bill Z for the reply. I am lubricating the bars with my gun oil that I use on my pistols because of the stainless steel. I do not run it fast at all. I will check the screws the next time I run my machine. Other than that it seems that I am doing what I need to do. That’s great! Thank you ...

Re: Machine Maintenance

I do appreciate the information. If that’s it then I’ve got all my bases covered. As far as the little Bit of humour at the end.
I love it. It made me smile. If you don’t have humour in your life something is surely wrong. :D

Machine Maintenance

I have asked a couple of people (one being the manager of a Rockler store) about what kind of maintenance I can do for my machine to get more life out of it. I have been told that all I could really do is just blow the dust off of it. I don’t know about that. It just doesn’t sit well with me. There ...

Re: Start and stop

Thank you for looking at the file. I did try what you said earlier this evening. I started up my machine and loaded another file to air cut. It ran fine. So I ran the same one that messed up again. It ran fine also. I cut the file and finished the project that I was originally working on. I don’t kn...

coat hanger and HD sign

I made the coat hanger for my neighbor. The HD sign for a buddy of mine from work. The coat hanger has deer antler for the hangers. The desktop name plates are laser engraved. They were made from some old 4x4’s from a poolside deck that I had torn down.
