Are you using a post processor file that supports the laser? Go to 'https://nextwaveautomation.zendesk.com/ ... processors' to find one for your machine, I use the 'Next Wave-Laser_inch' one.

If you could see files before, my guess is that you have too many files in the directory you are looking at. I remember seeing something about the max number of files in a directory. I try to limit the number of files in directory to 10, if I have more I move some to a sub-directory.

Try renaming the file, just change the nc to tap.

You need to create a new file when starting VCarve then from the file menu select Import Component / 3D Model.

Try increasing your safe Z distance.
