Re: Shark Pro Plus HD/All Sharks Router Mount
Well 50 people looked at this post and no one replied. Glad I sold the Shark. This forum is dead and should be buried. Offer resended and goodbye forever.

Shark Pro Plus HD/All Sharks Router Mount
I recently sold my Shark Pro Plus HD. I found a box with a brand new NWA Router Mount and my original one. The original mount is a little chewed up so I ordered a new one from NWA but found an aluminum one from Dixie Billet and put that one one instead of the new NWA one. I have no use for these and...

Re: Beach Scene in Cherry
I like the way you used the bark inclusion or knot in the over all design. The carving is nice and because you recognize the buildings it means more to you. In the dead of winter you can imagine yourself at the beach. sitting on the deck with an adult beverage and soaking up the sun.

Re: Feeds and Speeds
Good advise above. I have had spotty results emailing router bit makers about feeds and speeds. Whiteside is very responsive with their feeds and speeds. I had bought a Whiteside 6210 One Inch 3 Wing spoil board cutter and emailed them and they replied back the same day. They recommended 100 IPM and...

Re: spoilboard issue
Here is a picture of the spoil board I just finished. I put T-slots in about 3 inches apart and 1/4-20 Tee Nuts in from the bottom. I have some L brackets I use to anchor the board and use the t-slots with 3/8" clamps or the 1/4-20 bolts to secure the work piece. So far it has worked pretty good. I ...

Re: New to Me Shark Pro Plus HD
I am on a few forums like Router Forums Sawmill Creek Lumber Jocks Thunderbird Nest XDA Developers etc. This Forum has the least amount of participation by the members of any forum I log into. I wonder why I bother to post here when no one answers anyones questions or comments. Most forums are about...

Re: Controller Replacement BlackBox
So just looking at the Blackbox it would seem to work if you really wanted it to. My concern is about propriety systems like NWA. If NWA went away then the license files needed to run their controller could not be generated and your controller would become a brick. I do not think NWA is going away b...

New to Me Shark Pro Plus HD
I bought a used Shark Pro Plus HD and have been setting up for about 2 weeks. I cleaned up the machine and replaced the router and got a billet router mount from Dixie Billet. The original router was a Bosch but sounded terrible. The previous owner had smeared caulk or some type of adhesive all over...

Re: Router Depth in Billet Mount
Thanks for your reply. I have noticed that in pictures most routers are set pretty low in the mounts. I have seen what you are talking about in that the first cuts the dust boot is not touching the material but late deeper cuts the dust bristles are touching the material. I will play around with the...
