So it turns out the rotator was wired backwards and was spinning in reverse! Settings not using 18000 rpm and 180 inch per min and varying as I need from there.

Going to give 18000 RPM, 200 / 40 a try with a new bit.

Sorry. "All over the place" was me just being frustrated trying things without thinking them through. I was experiencing burn with lower RPM like you said. The highest I tried was what you see in the screenshots attached. I found the amana tool data sheet saying I should be at 18000 RPM with a 0.006...

I was all over the place. I just recently found the spindle can go up to 24000RPM. I am all over the place trying to figure this out. I did a 3D carve roughing with 1/4" end mill and 1/8" ball nose end mill that came out pretty decent.
