How to tram gantry on Shark HD3
I have a Shark HD3 and I need to tram the gantry. The router seems to be level left to right but is nosing forward from front to back. I don't see anything in the manual about traming or how to adjust it. I did add the new aluminum router mount like the HD5. Are there any instructions or video's on ...

Re: Shark HD3 Aluminum Base Track T-Nut size?
After much searching I was not able to find any sliding T-nuts that would be the correct size for the tracks on my Shark. The series 10 stuff is too small and the series 15 I think would be too big. Shark must use an odd size track. Anyway I ended up having to order the siding T-nuts from Next Wave....

Aluminum Router Clamp Upgrade for HD3 worth the cost?
I have a Shark HD3 that I recently aquired. I see that Nextwave offers an aluminum router clamp upgrade for the HD3. Has anyone used this? Does it make a difference in your cuts and carvings? Is it worth the money? I would love to hear your thoughts. My cnc experience has been on ShopBot machines wh...

Nylon bolts are safer for bits, but have a thicker ...

Shark HD3 Aluminum Base Track T-Nut size?
I recently purchased a barely used Shark HD3. It has the aluminum T-Slot extruded base that is made of 14 pieces of 1" x 2" extrusions. I am making a 3/4" MDF spoil board and would like to bolt it down with some T-nuts, but I'm not sure what size to order. Is this considered the 10 series? If these ...

Re: Engraving Ritchey Cattle Ear Tags
I know this is an older post, but did you guys ever get this figured out? I just purchased a used (but basically new) HD 3.0 and I would like to also be able to carve Ritchey tags. How are you holding them down, what bit are you using and what speeds?
