Re: Where can I find this bit?
Ron, They are out there but you'll have to browse around to find exactly what you're looking for based on your application. Here's a link to one of our CNC Club's useful web links that lists all the bit distributors our members have dealt with: http://pnwcnc.org/index.php/useful-web-links/80-bits I ...

Re: Black Diamond gantry upgrade
Just received my aluminium gantry back upgrade today. Took me about 20 minutes to install it by my self. I have an HD Extended and not a Black Diamond so I'm guessing they're making it available for most of the recent models. Also note that I've added an aluminium angle bracket and cable chain which...

Re: Got my NWA 4th axis ordered
Ed,
Largest diameter would be 4". That is probably adequate for most of what I'm doing but my machine can handle a little more so I'm looking at making a spacer to raise it up a bit.

Re: Got my NWA 4th axis ordered
My 4th Axis arrived today. Have it set up with the new control panel and can jog everything around. Currently am unable to find the referenced post processors for the 4th Axis on Nextwave's web site so can't do any cutting other than manually created files at the moment. Some observations for Tim, e...

Re: Control Panel 2
Those posts are pretty old. I think its well worth it and haven't run into any of the bugs mentions as of yet.

Re: reclaimed wood
I have done it. I used a 1/6" mill basically going only about 2/10" deep to mark out where I wanted the tools then finished with a skinny utility knife. Worked well but haven't tried cutting through. I have purchased some 3/4" foam from FastCap that I intend to cut with the machine but haven't done ...

Re: How to draw radial lines
JimBob, If you post what you've got so far maybe we can point you in the right direction. Normally if I want lines that radiate from the center of the circle I draw a straight line, align it to the center of the circle and then rotate it the appropriate amount and then trim the portions I don't need...
