Re: Is It Me or my HD4 PRO
Hi Dave, It could be a combination of 'things' that is contributing to this. From your detailed description, I don't think it is any one of these, but 2 or more. I also run a Shark in the environment as is, and have been for several years. 1 - job runs but sizes are different. Almost guarantee that ...

Re: 3D Cutting Depth Zero
Hi John,
Check the Model Position in Material setting in the Material Setup tool. I suspect you have it set so that the model is flush with the bottom of the material, and not the top of the material.

Re: Vcarve getting out of alignment?
It doesn't need saying - as Bob is always with a good idea on what is going on from a distance - but I agree. The material was positioned in a manner that resulted in the 'top' of the carving to be hitting the limits at different points while carving that area. As the machine is new to you, you may ...

Re: HD5 or HD4
I agree with Tony for what it's worth. I've seen an HD5 and there are significant improvements over the HD4. While over the years these increments have been somewhat incremental at times, the HD5 introduces a couple significant changes - particularly in the gantry construction and rails. As far as t...

Re: Received Software on Disc. Computer has not disc drive
I would take the time to contact NWA via phone and register your machine as the 'new' owner. I'm not sure their automated system will support this. You will find the NWA control software download here - https://www.nextwaveautomation.com/downloads-links . As I'm not familiar with your model machine ...

Re: Shark HD3 Z-axis problems
Thanks for posting a followup. Too often the outcome never makes it here - so you never know. Bob's last comment is a good one as well. I have seen what I call 'free electrons' play a role over the years. In my case, I eliminated all of this with a UPS - primarily for power conditioning aspect vice ...

Re: Shark HD3 Z-axis problems
Hi Dave, Some additional thoughts after entering the conversation at this point - from your very first picture - having a ~0.35" difference in pocket depth is frankly either a rogue virtual zero setup (somehow) or you have a mechanical issue of some sort (that may be hard to recognize). If you have ...
