Re: Just a couple of thoughts...

I just want to know what you did to your shark to get it so mad at you?
Please let us know so that we can avoid the same bad blood from our machines!
Maybe you just over worked yours, my wife gets that same way from time to time!

Re: Which 1/2" router

According to a post you made in March, you ordered a Shark HD which is designed to take a much larger router (2.5 h.p.).
All the large routers here will take a 1/2" bit. The big problem is to find a GOOD collet to take bits less than 1/4".

Re: Walnut Plaque

Larry, What took you so long to get this done?
I like it... I also have a PHD in home renos, yardwork, and half
a dozen other things (the list is only half done).
Thanks for keeping us smiling!

Re: Etching glass?

Because the glass is very uneven, I think you are asking for troubles.
It will be very hard to keep an even pressure with out cracking the glass.
If you do try this please let us know your results, maybe I could use it in my
stained glass projects.

Re: Sign making

The largest Sharks(pro plus and pro plus Hd) are limited to cutting 25 x 25 inches,
after that you would have to perform some software magic. That being said
YES the Shark is a very capable machine.

Re: Just Ordered my Shark Pro Plus HD.....

The Pro Plus HD doesn't come with a router... at least mine didn't. Better recheck the specs on Rockler's site. Doug Edit Just checked their site, I'll be darned, they are including a Bosch 1617EVSTB Router Package. You'll have a complete almost ready to run, less computer, package when it arrives. ...
