Re: ISO Logging 3D carving files

How big of a model Steam Donkey are you looking for?

This is a start of a Model Steam Donkey which can be resized accordingly. This one is pretty large - tank is 21" tall, 8+" in diameter, Gears are 6" each.

Re: Spindle Motor Questions from a Nube

1.) You could install one of these like I did with my setup. Mine is in a convenient location for Emergency cutoff of everything! 20915-11-1000.jpg 2.) I added a relay switch control between control box and inverter for turning on/off the spindle with a NEW Modified Post Processor with a DELAY added...

Re: Next Wave CNC Shark HD3 Accuracy Problems

There is just one major drawback to the water-cooled spindle --- it is not controlled by the cnc controller box. The operator/user turns it on/off and must set the rpms after it is turned via a rotary dial knob on the inverter which controls the spindle. That is another gripe (rarely mentioned) that...

Re: Next Wave CNC Shark HD3 Accuracy Problems

Not at 18000 that is to high bring it down to 14000 to 12000 if you can (not sure you can with a Bosch router though) it will burn at that speed especially if it is MDF you are cutting. I have a chart somewhere on the rpm's versus settings for the Bosch because I have two of them one is used as a ta...

I am going to have a go at this - Question 1 - Where is your X-Axis and Y-Axis in your V-Carve Desktop Program? Center of Material or Lower Right corner, etc...? Both the V-carve Desktop Program Settings and the Actual Performed Sequence s should be EXACTLY the SAME !!! Question 2 - You say you are ...

Re: Huanyang Inverter for water cooled spindle on Shark HD4

Just be sure NOT to plug the inverter into the back of the control box. Nextwave does not have the spindle working from there yet as far as I know. I know for a fact it does not work that way on my Earlier Shark HD3 Pro Plus Extended Bed CNC with spindle. You have to control the spindle manually -- ...
