Re: Coffee Cup Holder
Attached are the files for building the coffee cup holder. Be sure to read the file Coffee holder 5a.doc for instructions. The .tap files are for a Shark Pro Plus. The .crv files were generated using VCarvePro 7.0. I also have posted a dxf copy of the files on the Vectric Gallery that you can downlo...

Re: Pro to HD upgrades
Bob: I used 1/2 x 6 x 6 angles for the Y axis upgrade as you observed. It may not be obvious from the photos, but the Y axis shafts are fastened to the bottom plate at the center only. I used the existing holes in the end plates to locate the shaft. I drilled them all the way through so I wouldn't h...

Re: And I thought the table was level :(
For clamping, I use these: http://www.amazon.com/Shop-Fox-D3347-Cam-Clamp/dp/B00012XE0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370111546&sr=8-1&keywords=Shop+Fox+D3347+Cam+Clamp The threaded nut that is supplied with them is too thick for the groves in the Shark aluminum extrusions, so you have to grind it down or...

Re: Cable retractor.
Consider using drag chains instead. I did. Of course this is for the cables, not a dust collecting hose.

Re: Pro to HD upgrades
My upgrade is now complete. The unit is much more rigid. I'll post the measurements of table flatness when I put the table back on.

Civil War Officer's Chair
All curved pieces were cut on the Shark Pro Plus. The backrest rails were profile outlined and finished on the bandsaw and sander.

Re: X axis flatness
I made some adjustments and measurements after incorporating the X axis retrofit on my Pro Plus. It now is flat on the X axis within .004". The table extrusions are mounted on 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8" angles instead of the original plastic strip. The Y axis, however moves down .030" just from the weight of ...

Re: Z Axis Not Coming Down Far Enough
You have to zero the Z axis when the end of the bit is just touching the surface of the cut material (unless you have set it otherwise in the material setup).
