Re: Is it possible to cut simply using the jog feature?

Yes you can, But be very careful. That is how I make key hole slots on the back of signs. I mark the start and end of the slot. Mount it on the machine so the y or X axis is a straight line. Next I determine how deep to plung the key hole bit and record the depth. You then jog the router to the star...

Re: Not to proud to ask for help

Rick, Well no luck again. I watched your video again and paused it at every step and the results were the same. Any way, I checked my software and I'm on v2.1 Build 17 I noticed that v2.1 Build 22 is available could that be part of the problem? Set X, Y and Z to 0.00 per your video moved to the head...

Re: Not to proud to ask for help

Rick, Thanks for the reply. I've watched your video numerous times before I got my 4th axis and a few times after. The only thing I'm doing different from your video is that I'm using my touch plate to touch off from the head stock and the tail stock, like they show in the NextWave video's. I'll try...

Not to proud to ask for help

I got the 4th axis for father day and can't get the bugs worked out. All I have been able to cut are pegs. I set all the preferences which should be correct but as it cuts from left to right it ramps up from 1.287" to 1.445" in the z axis. The g-code file reads a constant 1.287" depth for the length...

Re: Table Saw Inserts

Made an insert for my neighbors older Craftsman 10" contractor table saw.

As alway check dimensions and tool paths before you cut out the insert.

Re: Table Saw Inserts

Made a insert for my neighbors old Delta table saw, after he told me he used his dado blades with out an insert. So I used the insert he had as a pattern and made 3 of them for him to use before he hurt himself. Also, going to make one for another neighbor who has an old Craftsman 10" saw. Who also ...
