Re: 2.x panel
Jim, I just downloaded V2.1 Build 16 and both of the items that you mention are working correctly. It is better than I have seem it in earlier versions as there is no flicker in the screen update. Very nice! I also checked out other previously observed issues and I don't see any issues. There are lo...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Hi Joe, We all owe you a great deal of gratitude for your extraordinary efforts and dedication. SCP V2.1 build 15 is a major improvement over all of the earlier versions. I appreciate the complexity of the software and hope that my feedback is never viewed as being critical of you or your efforts. I...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Hi Mike, I wonder why it is necessary? I agree, it isn't that big a deal unless it impacts us in some other unknown way. I'll have to check each version update to see if it gets corrected. I haven't had enough time to comprehensively test build 15. Many problems have certainly been fixed in this ver...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Hi Joe, I did another test after setting the thickness to 0.358" [instead of the actual thickness of 0.378"]. I performed the touch plate detection to zero the z-axis. I then removed the touchplate and pressed the move to 0,0,0 button, The bit lowered to stop exactly at the surface of the material. ...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Hi all, seems there may be a driver issue leaving the bit above zero on the touchoff. v2.1 [Build 15] I have moved the internal adjustment into process that sets the position during [Detect Touchplate]. Please run a [Detect touchplate] test with a piece of scrap and under your touchplate and a junk...

Re: Bob's Super Simple 4th Axis
Thank you, Rod. I may have to wait until I retire next year in order to have time. I'll also need to justify the expense. It looks interesting. I'll give it a try. I'm still learning Aspire. I started with no experience in cnc or CAD and have enjoyed the journey.

Re: Bob's Super Simple 4th Axis
Rod, That if really fascistic. I've got to try Sketch up. It would seem like Bob's 4th axis could be used with the Probe. I have no artistic capabilities but even I can copy something. Maybe not well but ...

Looks terrific Rod. I see Bob's 4th axis, too. How is that working for you?
